  1. Awana Horse Ranch:

Before you head into the glitzy lights and slot machines, you could cool off on a fun horse ride that gives you an excellent sight of the surrounding scenery. The Awana Genting Highlands Golf and Country Resort is home to an equestrian centre that takes you through the lush green jungles that offer a delightful escape for you to calm your mind and enjoy a well-deserved break. 

  1. SkyWay:

This beautiful resort town is also home to the Awana SkyWay, that offers a bird’s eye view of the nearly 130-million-year-old rainforest. The SkyWay consists of gondolas which can accommodate up to 10 passengers, with the glass-floor ones built to accommodate around six. They provide the necessary ventilation, along with power outlets, so you can also charge your phones.

The standard ride ticket is pegged at RM8 a person, but the highly-recommended glass-floor one is at RM50. There’s also an express boarding pass that can be accessed for RM40. The ticketing counters are all located on the 2nd level.

  1. Butterfly Wonderland Genting:

The Butterfly Wonderland in Genting is a beautiful garden that’s home to thousands of butterflies. They roam freely, adding their colour to a verdant landscape, and is the perfect spot for any animal lover. The facility is open daily and features the Happy Bee Farm, which teaches you about bee farming and natural honey-based products. 

These butterflies are also friendly and will settle on your arms. They generally tend to stick to the many flowers and plants to collect nectar with ease. The park is open between 9 AM to 9 PM, with tickets priced between RM20 for adults and RM 16 for children and senior citizens.

  1. Genting Dream Cruise:

One of the best experiences you can enjoy at Genting is the Dream Cruise. A luxury cruise liner offers a slew of world-class amenities, with dining, shows and excellent rooms for starters. 

The Genting Dream Cruise consists of a quite impressive top deck that includes a waterslide park, with up to six slides. You can also enjoy exploring the ropes course and the 35m zipline, along with the rock-climbing wall.

There are also mini-golf courses and bowling alleys. If you’re travelling with kids, you can keep them at the Little Dreamers Club, which features a range of activities, including arts and crafts to costume-based parties and more.

  1. First World Hotel:

The First World Hotel is home to 6,118 rooms and is the largest one in the world. This Genting hotel is replete with a 500,000 sq. ft indoor theme park, food and shopping centres and is one of the most sought after hotels among thousands of holiday goers to the region.
