Good news for everyone who’s dreamt of visiting or enjoying a staycation in Singapore’s Sentosa Island! From March 14 until the end of June, visitors will get free entry to the world-famous Resort World Sentosa. The Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) had already planned to waive the entry fee for the visitors on the occasion of the Mid-Term School Holidays in March. However, to support tourism after the recent Coronavirus outbreak, the SDC has extended the free admission.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has praised Singapore for its all-government approach” in the containment of Covid-19. Several videos by the Singapore Prime Minister have helped the public be aware of the risks and precautions to be taken. On the other hand, the Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Chee Hong Tat, who had a tour across the island recently, has hoped that the new measures would attract more tourists to Sentosa. Some new channels have also released videos featuring students and parents having fun on the Island during March School Holidays.
